Wireless Capability

Campark T80 Trail CameraCampark T80 has a built-in WIFI function. In order to be able to use it, you need to download its application to your smartphone. Then you can use the WIFI on your phone to connect with the camera. Unfortunately, you cannot use your home WIFI with it, you need to connect it to your smartphone. This camera cannot send pictures automatically over WIFI. When you want to send or receive pictures, you need to connect to the camera through their app and pull the pictures. Thus, you cannot configure the device to send you automatic alerts when motion is detected. You will have to check what has been captured manually.

Once you are set, you can adjust the camera position, adjust all your camera settings, manage your files and check your photos and videos from your phone. There is also a remote control provided with the camera for the same purposes but it works only in a limited range. The WIFI connectivity range is satisfactory, about up to 80’ and the download speed is quite impressive, it is about 1-3M/S.

Image & Video Quality

Campark T80 game camera can capture photos with 20MP resolution. Also, it can record videos of 1296P resolution. This means that you can take vivid photos and videos with this unit. If you want to observe wildlife in detail or want to be able to see all the intruders in your property clearly, these resolutions will serve you right. Plus, all video recordings are with sound.

On the other hand, you may choose to capture photos or videos with lower resolutions. You can decrease the resolution from the settings menu when you want to save from recording space or when you believe lower resolutions will work just fine for you. Your options will be 20MP, 16MP, 12MP, 8MP or 5MP for the photos and 1296P (1728×1296,30fps) or 1080P (1920×1080,30fps) for the videos. The video length can be 10-60seconds or 1-3 minutes.

Detection Circuit & Trigger Speed

Campark T80 trail camera features a low glow IR flash with 36pc 850nm infrared LEDs. It has a detection rage of 65ft and can produce detailed black and white night vision images. Consequently, you will not miss anything even in the dark.

It is a wide-angle camera and its detection zones are as follows: Central sensor zone:50°, side sensor zone: 30° each, total sensor angle zone:120°. The trigger speed is as low as 0.3s and the recovery time for Campark T80 is about 10s. It means that you get a 10-second delay from the time the camera first detects movement until it starts recording.

Operational Modes

However, battery life relies heavily on weather conditions and how often you tamper with the camera settings or send images. Cons

Campark T80 wireless trail camera is a very competitive device overall. One thing customers have complained about is the inadequacy of the instructions on the user’s manual. They had difficulty to set it up and figure out how to send pictures by using WIFI and they blame it on the poor instructions.

Bottom Line

Campark T80 is a very functional wireless game camera. Moreover, it is very versatile in terms of use. From wildlife monitoring to property security, it can be used for many purposes. It is the top-rated camera on our list and we believe that you won’t regret it if you purchase one.
